Delta-8 is a naturally occurring cannabinoid compound that's formed as a byproduct when Delta-9-THC is broken down. A portion the Delta-9-THC is converted to the CBN cannabinoid compound, and a small amount is converted to Delta-8-THC in the process. Delta 8 is similar to Delta 9-THC but differs in it's interaction with systems in our bodies.
Although very similar to Delta 9, Delta-8-THC interacts with your endocannabinoid system differently. The effects of Delta-8 are often reported as being relaxing and free from anxiety.
